Current research efforts concern pathogenicity testing of candidate isolates, distribution and persistence within the host plant and efficacy in reducing weevils in potted plants. ENTOMOPATHOGENIC NEMATODES The use of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) for insect control and their potential use against banana weevil has been reviewed by Treverrow et al.
