This change will become evident in every subject, not just in English. Such changes to classroom resources and practices also re-endorse each teacher's essentially moral role as a guardian. I have touched on some of the dangers that technology brings with it; it is not just discs that can be corrupted, human beings can be too. Students working under the guidance of a trusted adult remains our best model of learning. Tennyson's 'Ulysses' is full of praise for his crew; they undertook their voyages together.
